| Pros: Works as advertised-- lets you take an IDE or SATA drive and plug it into a USB port without having to crack open a computer case or put the drive in one of those external cases. I hated having to keep two different external cases around to deal with both IDE and SATA drives, and it was always a hassle putting drives in external cases if they weren't going to be in them for long. The kit is small, light, and should be included in any computer repair toolkit. |

| Cons: This product would be PERFECT if they included a SATA to eSATA adapter cable. You would then be able use such a cable with the included power supply to run a SATA hard drive straight to a computer's eSATA port if one was available. |
|
Other Thoughts: The power supply's output connector is the standard 4 lug (12 and 5 volt) power connector coming out of standard computer power supplies. You can plug it stright into the IDE drive or use the supplied adapter cable for the SATA drive. There's a handy on/off switch on the power supply cable.
