| Pros: Small, compact, and fast. Fantastic tool for quickly troubleshooting a network connection. Red light means no connection, simple as that. |
| Cons: LEDs only on one side of the adapter, making lower bottom facing jacks hard to read. (See other thought for solution to this problem.) |
| Other Thoughts: To solve the one side LED problem - simply get an RJ45 straight through coupler (some are crossover, so make sure it's a straight coupler) - and a short (1 ft or so) standard patch cable. Viola, you have a method of flipping the device so that you can see the LEDs.
Really, I recommend this to everyone who may be trouble shooting a network jack, and I have it in all of my toolkits (person, and 2 work locations) |

| Pros: small and handy to carry in your pocket |
| Cons: None |
| Other Thoughts: When the jacks are near the floor with the LEDs facing down I hold a piece of white paper under it, you can see the green or red glow easly |
