Works well, but requires waterproofing for outdoor use |

Pros: Stays off during daytime; bright enough at night for an entry area; uses larger C cell batteries for fewer changes; easy to mount with just two screws; farily easy to change batteries; easy to adjust. Good alternative to not wiring in an regular AC powered motion light.
Cons: Not the least bit waterproof for outdoor use without taping, sealing or caulking the joint around the ball. Mounted under an overhang and it still got water inside when rain drops got blown in and ran down the joint. Was not difficult to seal, but should not be necessary for a product intended for outdoors. Did not need to seal the battery door on the back, so that is a plus.
Other Thoughts: Would buy another, it's a convenient way to add a light to a dark area. For indoor use, would be great, for outdoor use, plan to use with a dry mounting location in mind.

Pros: Sensor and timer work well. Uses "C" cells so its batteries don't need constant replacement. Used on dark basement stairway, simply does a great job. Since solar doesn't last long in New Hampshire, more lights like this will be in use outdoors soon.
Cons: No cons found thus far.
Other Thoughts: Would recommend to a friend.
