The CompactFlash to IDE HDD Adapter is designed to enable CompactFlash media (type I or II) to be used as a direct replacement for an IDE (or PATA) hard drive. With one low-powered and shock-resistant CF card, you can use it in a laptop or any device that accepts an IDE drive. Once installed, the CompactFlash card appears as an ordinary hard drive to any OS and can even be configured as a boot device. Also compatible with Microdrive. CF card not included.
