If your media source isn't in the same room as your HDTV--or is hidden in a closet--an infrared remote control doesn't do you much good. This adapter kit adds a small extension to each end of your HDMI cable so that you can capture IR signals at your television and retransmit them--over HDMI--to your distant media player (like a Blu-ray Disc player or a cable box). Kit includes 2 HDMI adapter modules, IR receiver and IR transmitter.
