Pros: It is a very nice piece to have and the outcome looks really good. Once you get the hang of it it is really easy from there on out. |
Cons: Getting to the outcome can be very patient testing if you don't know what you are doing. It has the title of tool free. that is a yes and no. When i hear tool free that means no tools at all. Well you dont need any specialists tools like punch downs (although it did come in handy.) i had to use a pair of pliers to pull the wire down. It took me almost 1.5 hrs to figure out how to do it. |
Other Thoughts: Well in the end this product has its ups and downs but over all so good. Here is a fast overview that should be written on a piece of paper that comes with it. First strip the wire. Second untwist the pairs. Third separate the pairs to the respective sides. Fourth place the wires thought the plastic eyelet on the "top" of the piece. Sixth repeat third. Seventh use provided zip tie to hold wire to "top" of peace using the two small holes. eight place wires in proper slits use a pair of pliers to pull and hold them in. You will feel a small "pop". Ninth repeat for all other wires. tenth Use black piece provided to push on "top" and place wires in the metal cutters. I hope that helps. I know that it would have helped me. |
