Pros: I suppose it hasn't caught on fire and burnt our facility to the ground...yet. |
Cons: We purchased 20 of these for a class room. Since the weight of the tower is supported only on one side of the mount, this causes the hanging CPU to lean conciderably. I would guess some of them as far at 12 to 15 degrees. No amount of tightening anything will solve this problem. The only solution I can come up with is to mount a "peg" between the mount arm and the desk wall. 20 of these in a class room leaning like this looks horridly unprofessional. When totally assembled and CPU in place, it feels very unstable and as if it could fall apart at any moment. |
Other Thoughts: We bought these, because we could no longer find the mounts like we have in other class rooms that have a support arm on both sides. Those mounts have remained rock solid and if we can find them again, we will get rid of these in a heart beat. We did try the CPU holders that have two straps, but two people, a monkey, and a floor jack are not always on hand to place CPU's back in place. |
Response From Cyberguys Tech: We know the instructions can be a bit hard to follow. Please call our tech support for some installtion tips. |
