Pros: Very bright, longer battery and bulb life |
Cons: Took some time to install, not as easy to focus as original |
Other Thoughts: I agree with the other review that this is a nice upgrade to an existing flashlight. I purchased two of them and on the first install, my flashlight fell apart. Easier on the second, expect it to take a couple of minutes to install. I am very pleased with the results. The switch in the tail cap is not so necessary, and the light seems less able to be focused. It's just much more bright and white, and I am pleased my batteries will last longer. A downside is the loss of warranty on the mini mag flashlight. Having a number of these flashlights over the years, the typical failure is batteries corroding and being unable to open the tail cap. I would recommend you just buy the bulb, as the switch in the tail piece does not add that much value, in my opinion. |

Pros: Makes my old mini Maglite work so much better than it did before. Very bright, and easy to install. |
Cons: Old flashlight head was hard to disassemble. Not this products fault. The old one is over 20 years old, and it's been together a long long time. |
Other Thoughts: Beats spending over $20 to get a LED mini Maglite by far. |
